The nose abounds with violets, black pepper and fresh black cherries. The powerful palate matches the nose in both intensity and depth showing plush dark fruit and oak spice, intermingled with rooibos tea, cured meat and dried herbs. The immense tannin structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon, along with the fruit and spice from the Syrah, ensure that this wine will age well over the next decade.
