The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old is a perfectly balanced single malt whisky matured for 18 years in both American and European sherry seasoned oak casks. Notes of dried fruit, ginger and toffee on the nose with hints of clove and nutmeg. On the palate, rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus. The finish is warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
